Mission

MIBSS is dedicated to improving healthcare for people with special needs.

The Mouvement pour l’Inclusion des Besoins Spéciaux en Soins de santé (MIBSS) is a not-for-profit organization whose goal is improving healthcare for people with special needs (physical disability, sensory disability, neurodiversity, etc.), through the education of healthcare professionals. We achieve this objective by offering workshops, courses, internships, volunteering opportunities, and educational resources to supplement the training of healthcare students across Quebec.

The MIBSS, a unique initiative, thus represents a sustainable platform creating a new generation of healthcare professionals trained in a spirit of inclusivity and respect for diversity. In this way, our organization seeks to set in action an improvement of social attitudes towards people with special needs, to change the realities of exclusion long experienced by this population.
